| The (WTO) World Trade Organisation is a international organisation dealing with internationial trade rules. The WTO regotiate agreements and signed by the bulk of the worlds trading nations. The WTO aims to facilitate trade amony counties by creating conditions of competition that are fail and equitable. To this end it encourages the countries to enter into negatiation for the reduction of tariffs, and to removal of other barriers to trade. |

| Member countries are unnder an obligation to ensure that their national legislations, regulations and procedures are in full conformity with the provisionns of these agreements. |

| Their rules also go to ensure that laws do not create unneccessary barriers to trade and higher tariffs. |
