BEEF STROGANOFF |

| One of the old time favorites is beef stroganoff. |

| 1 tablespoon cooking oil. |
| 3/4 cup water. |
| 1 can mushrooms (2 1/2 oz) or 2 1/4 cups fresh mushrooms. |
| 1 lbs boneless beef round steak. |
| 8 oz sour cream. |
| 2 tablespoons flour. |
| 1 envelope onion soup mix. |

| Cut meat into strips 1/4 inch thick. In oil brown the meat. If you are using fresh mushrooms, remove the meet and cook the mushrooms until tender. |
| Now put the meat back in and add the water. (if you are using canned mushroom add them here). Stir in the soup mix and heat toboiling. Now stir the sour cream and flour in a bowl. |
| Now stir this into the mixture. Cook until thickened and bubbly. When bubbly fook for 1 minutes 25 seconds more. |
| Serve over hot cooked noodles. Ifyou do not hae noodles you can substitute or rice. |
