SHRIMP APPETIZERS

.
At a large number of parties you will find a small shrimp appetizer. they are easy to set up and they will go over good.
.
1 to 2 lbs small shrimp. (see below)
1 pkg. of toothpicks
1 pkg Ritz Crackers (see below)
1 pkg cheese(see below)
.
The shrimp will be your stories on a tray about 12 inch around. Most of the time they will be tail up and pointing toward the center of the tray. Make sure that they are all the same size. They can be any size from 2 1/2 inch to up to 4 inch. It looks better to use the shorter one. Make sure that the shrimps are cooked.
.
The cheese can be a cheese spead to a 1/2 inch slab. If you are using the slab (I like this way better) cut the cheese in 1 inch square.
.
You now take the Ritz crackers and lay them out on a board or plate. In the center of each cracker place a piece of cheese or spread the cheese spead on top of the cracker. If you don't like Ritz crackers ou can use an other cracker but using Ritz makes it look better.
.
Now you stand the shrimp onits end with the tailup and stick the toothpick down through the shrimp, cheese, and the cracker. You now have a nice item for you appetizer tray. Your guest will remember you had it there.
