.
Scalloped potatoes are easy to make and will make a good item for any dinner. Follow the recipe below.
.
2 cups cream sauce. Any white sauce.
3 cups light cream.
3 lbs potatoes. (or 2 #2 cans of potatoes)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1/4 cup onion (1 small onion)
1-2 cupsof buttered crumbs.
.
Slice the raw potatoes (they can be peeled or unpeeled) into thin pieces. Use most of the cheese and mix with the potatoes. Mix the salt, cream sauce, light cream, onion, and pepper (if wanted), and then add to the potatoes. Place all in a dish with the buttered crumbs on top.
Bake at 360-376 F. for about 30 minutes, by checking it. Just before taking from the oven, sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, and then let it melt. The potatoes are then ready to eat.
