Here is a simple but tasty salad. You will take less then 1/2 hour to make it except you will need to make it about 1 to 2 hours before you need it so that it can be chilled.
.
1/4 cup chopped onion (1 small onion).
2 cup mayonnaise.
1 can water pack tuna, drained.
1/2 cup fine chopped celery (1 to 2 stalks).
Salt and pepper to taste.
1/3 cup sweet pickle relis.
1/2 cup frozen carrots or green peas.
4 ounces cheddar cheese.
2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice.
7 1/4 ounces elbow macaroni (small elbow is better).
.
Thaw the carrots or green peas and cook them.
.
The celery, onion need to be chopped real fine. The cheddar cheese need to be shredded and the tuna need to be drained.
.
Cook the macaroni until done. Drain with cold water and dry.
.
Mix all the items and cover it. Place in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours to cool the salad. Serve cold. By placing it in the refrgerator for this time, the flavor wll blend.
