Most people have seen or has had a kabob to eat. What a kabob is food on a skewer. The following is how to cook one.
1 ½ lb ground beef (see below about other types).
¼ teaspoon garlic salt or power.
½ lb onion salt
½ lb celery salt
pinch of pepper (more if wanted)
2 green peppers (see below)
2 med tomatoes (see below)
2 med onions (see below)
12 mushroom buttons
4 tablespoons salad oil.
Cut the green peppers, tomatoes, and onions into 1 inch slices. These and the mushroom buttons will be on the skewer with the meat.
The beef can be replaced with pork, lamb, ground turkey, lamb, or any other meat or fish.
Combine the beef (or other meat) with salt and pepper. Form the meat into 1 ½ inch balls.
Thread on skewer, alternating with chunks of tomato, onion, green pepper, and mushroom. You can add any other vegetable that you like.
Brush with the salad oil and broil over hot coals, turning occasionally until meat is well done or done to what the person like.
Serve hot.
Good luck.
