EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES

by Ted Peterson
The European Union is made up of 27 different countries in Europe. This may increase in time when maybe some new countries may join. Some people think of European Common Market but its real name is European Union. You donot have to change your money to EURO as some people think. Some of the largest member do not use the EURO.
Most but not all the E. U. countries have one currency. For more information on their currencies see a web page on this site called EURO. (you can click on the name and go to it. That page is also on this web site.)
The EU sets the items that can be imported or kepted out, airlines that can land and takeoff, etc. for the different E.U. countries.
