The article is on to make a good creamy coleslaw. The amount will make about 8-9 servings. If you need more make the quantity larger. Like for 4 make all item 1/2 times listed amount.
1 medium or small onion.
½ cup mayonnaise.
2 teaspoon mustard.
½ - ¾ cabbage or 4-5 cups
1 tablespoon sugar
1/3 cup sour cream
2 teaspoon lemon juice.
¼ teaspoon each salt, pepper, celery seeds, garlic.
1 carrot. (if you would like to add)
Make sure that the cabbage, onion, and if you like the carrot is finely chopped or shredded.
Add all the remaining ingredients and toss until evenly coated.
Refrigerate for 1 to 1 ½ hour or more so that the flavor will mix with all.
Store covered in a refrigerator until eating.
