BROCCOLI  DINNER

                                 by Ted Peterson

This is a way to serve broccoli that you may use to serve to the person that may not like broccoli.   It has a sauce that will bring out the broccoli.

   3 lbs broccoli.

   2 teaspoons butter or margarine

1 medium finely chopped onion or 3 tablespoons chopped onion.

   1/2 cup chopped celery

   1 tablespoon soya sauce

   1 chicken bouillon cube.

   1 cup hot water

   1 tablespoon cornstarch

   1/3 cup cold water

2 1/3 teaspoons finely chopped parsley.

Break up the broccoli into small bite pieces.   Cook until tender, about 8 - 10 minutes.

Heat the butter in a saucepan.  Then add onion and celery and cook gently for 5 minutes while stirring.   Add the bouillon cube and hot water and bring to a boil.

Combine cold water, soya sauce and cornstarch while stirring until smooth and then stir into boiling liquid gradually.   Boil for 1 minute while you are stirring in the parsley.

Place the broccoli in a dish and then pour the sauce over the broccoli.   Now it can be served.

       Good Luck.
